World Smash Speed Record

Satwiksairaj Rankireddy from India holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest male badminton smash, clocking at an astonishing 565 km/h (351.07 mph). First badminton player to retain an Olympic singles

Male: Lin Dan, nicknamed "Super Dan" by his fans won the Olympic gold medal twice consecutively in 2008 Beijing Olympics and 2012 London Olympics.

Female: Zhang Ning, a former Chinese badminton player, won Olympic gold medal twice consecutively in 2004 Athens Olympics  and 2008 Beijing Olympics.
